Background

PCL was created as a new brand in the premium detailing category.

Market analysis revealed that most competitors attempted to convey premium quality through visual overcompensation. Excessive effects, aggressive graphics, and overloaded compositions produced the opposite effect — instead of communicating status and quality, the overall communication felt cheap and indistinguishable.

In essence, the market was saturated with advertisements for services rather than with actual brands.

I saw an opportunity to build the brand on the opposite principle: to create a sense of premium quality not through decoration, but through character and emotional perception.

Consistent Recognition

Strengthening recognition through a unified communication system.

Objective

Create a brand that would:

  • distance itself from the category’s visual clichés;

  • establish a distinctive and recognizable image;

  • create a scalable communication system;

  • ensure a strong market launch.

Solution

For the launch of PCL, I developed the identity system and defined the principles of the creative direction.

Instead of relying on visual excess, the communication was built around emotional messaging, expressive typography, and strict compositional control.

As a result, the brand acquired its own voice and a distinct visual territory, setting it apart from the majority of players in the category.
